Traffic Advisory Issued Ahead Of Weekend Events In Stamford
Drivers should seek alternative routes, police said.

STAMFORD, CT — A traffic advisory has been issued for the area near Mill River Park this weekend for the Hey Stamford! Food Festival's "After Dark" events.
According to the Stamford Police Department, Washington Boulevard and adjacent streets in the area of Mill River Park will be closed due to heavy pedestrian traffic at intermittent times between the hours of 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Fiday, Aug. 23, and Saturday, Aug. 24.
Drivers should seek alternative routes.

Rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent will kick-off the weekend on Friday, followed by fellow rappers A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Cash Cobain on Saturday. Gates open at 5 p.m. both days.
As a special thank you to the community, the Hey Stamford! Food Festival is free for all attendees on Sunday, Aug. 25.
