Water Main Break Restored In Stamford: Aquarion
Crews worked to repair a water main break on the West Side for most of Monday.

STAMFORD, CT — The water main break that occurred on Stamford's West Side Monday morning has been restored, according to the Aquarion Water Company website.
The break was first reported at 7:30 a.m. West Avenue between Ferris Avenue and West Main Street was closed to traffic. Approximately 20 customers were affected by the break, Aquarion said on its website.
Some customers may experience discolored water, Aquarion noted. Residents in the area may want to use stored water for drinking and cooking, and delay clothes washing until water is clear.

Run the cold water faucet until the water appears clear, prior to resuming use for these purposes, Aquarion said.
