Weapons Charges Lodged Against Stamford Teens

Two Stamford teens are facing weapons possession charges after they reportedly arranged to sell a revolver in downtown Stamford.
Police used a third party to arrange for the purchase of a .22 caliber Ruger revolver for $450 in an Atlantic Street parking lot Thursday night, according to The Advocate. Officers intercepted the pair on Atlantic Street and found the gun in an 18-year-old teen’s purse, according to the report.
Presley Almanzar, 19, of Atlantic Street, and Wendy Gonzalez-Martinez, 18, of Lafayette Street, were charged with carrying a pistol without a permit and conspiracy to possess a revolver without a permit, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
