Wonder, A Unique Food Hall Delivery Chain, To Open In Stamford

Wonder offers an eclectic mix of dishes from various restaurants and chefs around the country. Two locations will open in CT soon.

STAMFORD, CT — Wonder, a unique food hall delivery chain with locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, will soon open its first Connecticut outposts in Stamford and Fairfield, giving residents an eclectic mix of dishes from various restaurants and chefs around the country.

The Stamford location is set to open on Jan. 30 at 1131 High Ridge Road, and it will feature food from restaurants such as:

Limesalt (Mexican); Tejas Barbecue (BBQ); Fred's Meat & Bread (sandwiches); Yasas by Michael Symon (Mediterranean); Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson (fried chicken); Burger Baby (hamburgers); Wing Trip (chicken wings); Alanza Pizza; Room for Dessert; Alanza (Italian); Detroit Brick Pizza Co.; Bobby Flay Steak (steakhouse); Royal Greens (salads and bowls); Hanu Poke; The Mainstay by Marc Murphy (comfort food); Di Fara Pizza; Walnut Lane (New American); Maydan (Middle Eastern); and Bellies (kids menu).

The Fairfield location is expected to open in February at 1885 Black Rock Turnpike, according to Wonder's website.

"Expanding to CT is such an exciting moment for Wonder!" said Jason Rusk, executive vice president of restaurant operations for Wonder, in an emailed statement to Patch. "Both Fairfield and Stamford have such a great food scene, and we’re excited to add our presence to these vibrant locations. As a company founded in New York City, a presence in Stamford and Fairfield is important to us, and we’re thrilled to bring the experience deeper into the tri-state area."

The hours for the Stamford location will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
