Youth Mental Health Training Sessions Upcoming In Stamford

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Youth Mental Health Alliance will host two free Youth Mental Health First Aid training sessions this fall aimed at parents, teachers and other adults who work with young people.

The daylong courses, scheduled for Sept. 25 and Oct. 13 at Park 215 on Stillwater AvenueYouth Mental Health Training, are designed to help adults identify and support youth facing mental health and substance use challenges. Each session runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and includes lunch.

The Stamford Youth Mental Health Alliance is a citywide network of more than 35 organizations focused on improving access to mental health services for children and adolescents.
