2 Men Arrested by Stonington Police on Burglary Charges

The alleged burglaries occurred during the nighttime hours of Monday into Tuesday, Feb. 22-23.

Two men were arrested by Stonington Police on Tuesday, Feb. 23, after allegedly burglarizing buildings in Stonington.

According to The Day, police arrested Pawcatuck resident Richard Burton, 50, of 13 Marie Ave., and Hartford resident Alex J. Cleveland, 18. The arrests came about after Burton allegedly attempted to trade jewelry for cigarettes.
