UPDATE: Cats, Kittens Still Need Homes After Owner Faces Eviction

Stonington Animal Rescue Project is taking all kittens and most adults, but won't have room for all. Can you adopt a cat or share this post?

Less than a day after Stonington-Animal Rescue-Project issued a plea on Facebook, seeking people to adopt 30 cats from an owner undergoing eviction, they said all the kittens younger than five months old have been adopted.

“We still need help placing cats that are 7-months-old and 1-year-old,” according to the project’s Facebook page.

Anyone interested in adopting is asked to call 860-857-8110.

Original Post:

Stonington-Animal Rescue-Project is urgently seeking people to adopt cats and kittens. No photographs are available at this time, but Patch will update this article with more information as it becomes available.

The Stonington Animal Rescue Project shared the following on its Facebook page:

“We are helping someone who is going to be evicted from his house on Friday morning. He has about 30 cats between the ages of 4 weeks and 2 years old. We will be taking in all the kittens and most of the adults, but we do not have room for all of them. We need people who are willing to adopt these cats, especially the ones between the ages of 7 months and 2 years.

Any of the female cats may be pregnant. None of the cats are spayed, neutered or vaccinated. You would need to get this done yourself. All of the cats are healthy and friendly. The colors of the cats include black and white, all black, gray, and gray tiger stripped. All cats are short hair.

Please call 860-857-8110 if you can help us.

Thank you and please share!”
