Now is the perfect time to learn the art of calligraphy, or “beautiful handwriting.” In this workshop, you work on creating hand-crafted bookmarks, greeting cards, favorite quotes ready to frame, journals, and other projects.Participants find it to be a fun, calming, experience, and are surprised at how quickly they can make wonderful creations in this practical and excellent art form. Four different calligraphic styles are introduced: Bookhand, Uncial, Italic, and Blackletter, to provide a variety of techniques and creative possibilities, so you can focus on the styles you most enjoy.
