1. Here is your weekend weather, which looks like a nice combination of yardwork and movies!
- Today: Rain, mainly before 1pm. High near 51. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
- Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 50. Northwest wind 8 to 14 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
- Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 51. Breezy.
3. The Mystic Area Shelter & Hospitality (MASH) received a $5,000 grant from the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Foundation last week. The funds were raised during the foundation’s annual Holiday Gala held in December at Mohegan Sun.
