Daily Five: Cream-N-Cone Is For Sale
Plus, today's weather, Light Up for Autism, brush fire warning and the 'new' Patch.

1. Wow, it was cold Tuesday! Here's today's forecast from the National Weather Service:
- Today: Sunny, with a high near 45. West wind 11 to 17 mph.
- Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Northwest wind 7 to 14 mph.
3. Cream-n-Cone, the little ice cream shop on Route 1 in Pawcatuck across from the old Stop & Shop is for sale. We caught up with listing agent Greg Broadbent of REMAX, who said just the business is for sale, not the building. It is listed for $65,000 and includes all the equipment. And fear not, ice cream lovers! Broadbent said the business is opening for the season.
4. If you thought the lights outside Town Hall looked odd Tuesday night, it's because they were turned blue for autism awareness. According to an email from First Selectman Ed Haberek, "Stonington Town Hall entrance light will turn blue as part of an international campaign to shine light on autism. Stonington Town Hall will join other sites to participate in the 4th annual Autism Speaks Light It Up campaign for World Autism Awareness Day and Autism Awareness Month. The event will take place on April 2 and more than 3,000 iconic structures, buildings and landmarks will take part across all seven continents. The Empire State Building in NYC, Niagara Falls in Canada, Christ the Redeemer Statue in Brazil, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and even the International Space Station will all join Autism Speaks in support of the millions of families affected by autism. The Stonington Town Hall entrance light will change to blue on Tuesday beginning at dusk."
