Daily Five: Last Call For Mystic Drawbridge Closure

1. Today's forecast, compliments of The National Weather Service:

• Today: A chance of rain or drizzle, mainly after 1 pm. Cloudy, with a high near 52. North wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Tonight: Rain likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 37. Breezy, with a east wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

2. The last Mystic drawbridge closure is today from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and then we are i the home stretch to completion in May! Can I get an amen? Remember all the businesses are open! And there is lots of parking.

• Masons Island Rd, Mystic: from just south of Old North Rd to the Gatehouse
• Elm St, Stonington: Pave from Alpha Ave to Borough line
• Chase St, Pawcatuck: from West Broad St to the PNC driveway
• Lester Ave, Pawcatuck: from West Broad St to Palmer St
• Washington St, Pawcatuck: from West Broad St to Maple St
• Stillman Ave, Pawcatuck: from Liberty St to Arch St
• Lantern Hill Rd, Old Mystic: from just south of N. Stonington Rd to Wolf Neck Rd
• Taugwonk Rd: from I-95 offramp to where the road narrows @ #135
