Daily Five: Why Can't Stonington Drivers Count To Three?
Plus, today's weather, last chance for early registration discount at Seaport camp, Saturday egg hunt at Olde Mistick Village and more.

1. Will we ever be warm again? I look forward to the day I complain about how hot it is. Here's Tuesday's forecast from the National Weather Service.
- Today: A chance of sprinkles after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 44. Northwest wind around 9 mph.
- Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Northwest wind around 6 mph
2. Riddle me this: The bridge reconstruction project on Route 1 that has created one lane of traffic near the North Main Street intersection and also by St. Mary Cemetery has gone on for two years now. Everyone in town who travels regularly between Mystic and Pawcatuck knows the drill. So why in the name of all that is good do so many drivers ignore the '3 cars' rule? Can they not count? Can they not read? Are they actually reading a sign that says '3 Cars At A Time (Except for you, of course, Mrs. Smith)'? We've all seen that fourth — and yes, even that fifth — car sail across the bridge glued to the back bumper of the car in front of it. And when you make appropriate hand gestures at the rule-breaker, how often do you get a friendly wave in return?
3. Remember that Friday is Good Friday, and the schools are closed. Town Hall is also closed.
