This weekend’s stocked with fun things to do locally and if you’re willing to travel, this is the second to last weekend to see Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Speckled Band at the Gillette Castle. The shows are free and start at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The 30-minute performance is produced by the East Haddam Stage Company, who say, “Come be part of the 'studio audience' at our live 'radio' show! We're using the actual 1930 radio script used by William Gillette himself!” Gillette Castle is located at 67 River Road in East Haddam – BYO Blanket!
