Old Mystic Fire Chief Joins Ranks of CT Firefighters Hall of Fame
Fire Chief Kenneth W. Richards Jr. has served as chief since 1993.
The Old Mystic Fire Department said it is proud to announce that Fire Chief Kenneth W. Richards Jr. was inducted into the Connecticut Firefighters Hall of Fame Thursday, April 7.
"This great honor is bestowed upon leaders that have positively impacted the fire service locally, regionally, statewide, nationally,and/or internationally," the Old Mystic Fire Department (Official) said via Facebook. "Chief Richards has led the Old Mystic Fire Department as the Chief since 1993, and has helped guide us through many transitions, as well as lead in town-wide, county-wide, national and international associations and committees. His leadership and forward thinking has helped not only our organization, but countless others. Congratulations on this amazing honor Chief."
