Opera Singer's Estate Listed For $12.6 Million In Stonington
An estate owned by the family of a former Italian opera singer is on the market.
STONINGTON, CT — A property owned by an Italian opera singer has been listed for $12.6 million, according to The New Haven Register. The Georgian Colonial is located at 91 Sergio Franchi Drive in Stonington. The sprawling estate is owned by the family of Sergio Franchi, a late Italian opera singer who was a frequent guest on the "Ed Sullivan Show."
Franchi recorded about 25 albums while performing as a Las Vegas headliner and at the White House. He died in 1990.
