'Owls and Ales' Taking Place at DPNC in Mystic
Learn about the unique behaviors and natural history of owls while enjoying beer and snacks.
Join the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center for a meet-and-greet with Mr. Bill, the Great Horned Owl who serves as the DPNC mascot, and one of their Eastern Screech Owls.
The nature center will provide beer and snacks for guests to enjoy while learning about the unique behaviors and natural history of owls. Through a partnership with Lauren Graham of “Drink With Food,” a local business from Pawcatuck, a beer tasting featuring Burnsider Pale Ale, Night Swim'ah Belgian Wit and White Electric Coffee Stout will take place.
The adults-only event will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, April 15, at Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, 109 Pequotsepos Rd., Mystic.
