  1. Today’s supposed to be another gorgeous fall day. Weather Underground says it’ll be clear with a high of 75F, tonight will be partly cloudy in the evening, then clear with a low of 52F.
  2. Thursday muni meetings: Shellfish Comm. meets at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall meeting room, Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Comm.  meets at 7 p.m. in the Police Station, the Mystic Harbor Mgmt. Comm. meets at 7:30 p.m. at the  Fourth District Voting Hall.
  3. Ken Knott will speak on “Virginia Woolf-A Tumultuous Life” during the Books Sandwiched In program at the Stonington Free Library today at 1 p.m. Coffee and tea will be provided at this free program but bring a sandwich.
  4. The Dente Society of Westerly is putting on a cooking demonstration by Anna Turrisi tonight in celebration of Italian Heritage Night. The event is planned for 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Calabrese Club at 28 Pleasant Street in Westerly. Tickets are $12, call 401-596-7826 for more information.
  5. The Pine Point School is hosting a Boarding School Fair tonight beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a panel discussion at 7:15 on "Boarding School 101 Value and Affordability"
