Snowy Stonington and Beyond: A Photo Gallery

Even if you’re not a fan of snow, it’s hard to ignore its beauty sometimes, particularly when photographer and Patch reader Stevens Parr sends along photos of North Stonington in the snow.

He wrote captions 1 - 4:

1. I call this a Winterwall, a traditional New England stone fence, stretching into the distance.
2. First one is a winter Jackson Pollack creation - a tangle of vines and branches.
3. An empty North Stonington Road, very quiet.
4. If you want some canaries, it isn’t too late!
5. Reader JoJo sent along a snowy photo taken from the back side of The Inn at Stonington.
6. JoJo also sent along this picture, taken outside of the Inn around noon Saturday, Jan. 23.
