A wooden statue of Stonington High School's mascot was accidentally damaged following the football's team Friday night game

STONINGTON, CT — A wooden statue of Stonington High School's mascot was accidentally damaged following the football's team Friday night game, according to The New London Day. The carved bear lost an arm in an accident that involved Fitch students.

Police told The New London Day that the students were posing for photos with the bear when the arm broke off.
