STONINGTON, CT — Please find information below regarding the November 2024 elections. Any help sharing this information with friends and family is appreciated. We know many in Town are not signed-up to receive Town News directly, or for the new Town app. All information related to Town communication can be found on our web page here.

Absentee Ballots

Stonington's Town Clerk, Sally Duplice, would like to remind residents that absentee ballots are available for the November 2024 election. Anyone who will be out of town or who is unable to get to the polls because of sickness or physical disability may vote by absentee ballot. Applications may be downloaded from the Town Clerk site under Absentee Voting/Absentee Ballot or you may request one in-person or by phone. If you have any questions about absentee ballots contact the Town Clerk’s office at 860-535-5060.

In addition to the State and Federal election choices, voters also have addition ballot questions to consider- one statewide question pertaing to Absentee Voting, and five local Stonington Charter related questions. Early Voting

Early voting for the Election is October 21 through November 3. It will be held in the Community Room, located at the Stonington Police Department. Most days are 10am until 6pm; however, there are days that go beyond this timeframe. Please visit the Registrar of Voters page to see the specific times each day.

Election Day and Polling Places

Election Day is November 5, 2024. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The polling locations are listed below and on online. If you are not sure which district you live in, please visit here. Please also know, the Stoningoton Emergency Managment team has been attending and hosting trainings to help ensure a safe and secure election day in our community. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to the First Selectman's Office or to our Tactical Operations Director's Captain Bryan Schneider.
