Video: It's Time To Make Sawdust!

Find out what's so special about the Up-Down Sawmill, a National Landmark in our backyard.

Ledyard's opened for the season on the first week of April and already, sawmill volunteers have their work cut out for them.

Volunteers are cutting logs and timber for the Alexander Knight House Museum in Ipswitch, Mass. The house was built in 1657 and the mill was commissioned to provide boards sawn in the up-down manner, which would have been used at the time of the Knight house's construction.
