Acting Stratford Superintendent Gets Pay Increase After BOE Vote: Report
The Stratford Board of Education recently voted to increase the daily stipend for the acting superintendent of schools.
STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Board of Education approved, in a 5-2 vote, to increase the stipend paid to acting Superintendent of Schools Heather Borges from $250 to $400 a day, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the vote was held nearly 10 months after Borges was appointed to serve in the role during Superintendent Uyi Osunde’s suspension.
The stipend is in addition to Borges’ regular salary, according to the Post.
