HAIRSPRAY auditions for Adults with New Paradigm Theatre

Work with Broadway pros and local adults and youth. Each year the award-winning New Paradigm Theatreproduces their summer show and includes professionals, local actors and students. This is also a great chance to get your foot in the door for their other productions which include a Holiday show as well as a co-production of a musical with the Norwalk Symphony each year.

Artistic Director and Broadway veteran,Kristin Huffman says, "We have a lot of featured roles in Hairspray that we want to cast with new local adult actors. People who may want to make connections in the Broadway world, and with important directors and producers. Our productions are always professional looking and often lead to other gigs with us and our partners".

Location: Emmanuel Church PARISH HALL – 285 Lyons Plain Rd. Weston CT (There are two buildings at this address: The church and the PARISH HALL. Please come into the large parking lot at the PARISH HALL)

Attending the auditions will be Stephen Amato (Director), Chris Coogan (Musical director, and Nicole Demers (NPT casting associate).

PREPARE:
Prepare a short song of your choosing appropriate to the show (1 minute long) and have another ready if asked.
You may be asked to stay and read as well.
