ID Released In Fatal Stratford Crash: Police

A woman who died after her car struck a tree has been identified, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — A woman who died in a crash on Saturday in Stratford has been identified, according to police.

Sajah Kai Robinson, 27, of Stratford, was taken to a hospital following the accident. She later died due to her injuries.

Police responded around 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 13 to the area of Main Street near the intersection of Warner Hill Road on the report of a one-car crash, according to Capt. Jerry Pinto.

Pinto said the sole occupant of the 2021 black Mercedes GLA 250 was the 27-year-old driver, later identified as Robinson.

An investigation found that the Mercedes was headed north on Main Street when it left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Pinto.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by Detective Joseph Maverley.
