Animal Hospital In Stratford Closing After More Than 40 Years In Business
"We thank you immensely for 40+ years of caring for your critters," the veterinarians said in a note to clients.
STRATFORD, CT — The Barnum Animal Hospital in Stratford will be closing at the end of the month after more than 40 years in business.
A note to clients said the animal hospital, located at 755 Barnum Avenue Cutoff, will be closing as of Sept. 1.
“We thank you immensely for 40+ years of caring for your critters,” the note reads. “All records are available for pickup after September 1st in office. Please call ahead of time so we can have records ready for you to pick up.

“Thank you again.”
The note was signed by Dr. Pieper, Dr. Wong, and the staff at Barnum Animal Hospital.

Records will be available for pickup until Sept. 30, according to a post on Facebook announcing the notice. It was noted in the comments that Dr. Pieper is retiring and Dr. Wong does not have confirmed plans.
