Back To School: Stratford 2025-26 School Calendar

STRATFORD, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Stratford, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Stratford Public Schools for the 2025-26 school year.

The first day of school for most students in Stratford is Thursday, Aug. 28.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

• Rosh Hashanah, no school: Sept. 23
• Yom Kippur, no school: Oct. 2
• Election Day / Staff PD, no school for students: Nov. 4

• Three Kings Day, no school: Jan. 6
• Martin Luther King Day, no school: Jan. 19
