BBQ on the Beach Event to Benefit Bereaved Stratford Family

My name is Bob Lombard from Stratford, Connecticut. I'm organizing an event at Short Beach with the help of Friends of Short Beach on June 18th (5pm - 9pm) to benefit a Stratford family who recently suffered a terrible loss. The event is called 'BBQ ON THE BEACH' and it is intended to bring family, friends and neighbor's together for a great cause.

My son Danny plays both travel and Stratford Little League baseball with his friend Josh. On April 15, 2016, Josh lost his father in a terrible accident. This tragedy left a family without a husband and father. It also left the family with a significant financial burden.

BBQ ON THE BEACH is intended to benefit Josh, his sister, infant brother and his Mother.

There will be live bands, raffles, food and refreshments at this event. We are seeking food and paper good item donations to support the cause. We are also seeking volunteers to bring food items and assist with activities for the day.
