Bunnell Holds On To Beat Wilton, Advances To Class MM Football Championship Game
The Bulldogs punched their ticket to the state finals with a thrilling semifinal victory over Wilton.
STRATFORD, CT — The Bunnell football team advanced to the Class MM championship game with a thrilling 21-20 semifinal victory over Wilton on Monday night in Wilton.
Senior Rickie Miller helped lead the Bulldogs to their first trip to the state finals in 18 years, finishing with 145 yards rushing and a touchdown, according to GameTimeCT.
Third-seeded Bunnell will take on No. 1 Windsor in the championship game on Saturday, Dec. 13 at a site and time to be determined.

Windsor beat fourth-seeded Newington 42-0 to advance to the title game.
