This free, community event will feature a morning of engaging workshops that explore the power of culture and creative expression in advancing Dr. King’s message and legacy. This year’s event will feature a series of eight breakout sessions, each offered twice during the program. Attendees will select and attend two workshops, allowing for an immersive experience.

- Everyday Inventions & Mini-Maker Challenge with Ramona Riviere, Sterling Community Center
- Empathy Path: Walk in My Shoes with Nikkya Hargrove, Author and Owner of Odobo Serendipity Books
- Community in Action: Fulfilling the Dream with Marc Maignan, Art Educator, Stratford Public Schools
- Dr. King’s Dream: A Requiem for Reparations with Donald Smart, Esq., The Smart Law Firm
- The King & I: Applying MLK’s Life and Legacy Today with Matthew Bonito, Historian and Educator
- Storytelling with Master Storyteller Laconia Therrio
- The Building of an African American History Museum with Jeffrey A. Fletcher, Founder of the Ruby & Calvin Fletcher African American History Museum
- Dr. King’s Work with the Greater Bridgeport NAACP
