Driver Arrested After Going 118 MPH On I-95 In Stratford: Police
The woman was arrested after police said she was driving nearly 120 mph on I-95 in Stratford.
STRATFORD, CT — A New York woman was arrested after police said she was driving nearly 120 mph on I-95 in Stratford early Tuesday morning.
A state trooper was conducting motor vehicle enforcement on I-95 South in Stratford around 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 2, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said the trooper saw a red Audi A5 traveling at a “high rate of speed” near Exit 33.

The vehicle was clocked traveling 118 mph in a posted 55 mph zone, according to police.
“Furthermore, the vehicle was observed travelling too closely to the vehicle in front of it, and was failing to maintain the established travel lane,” police wrote in a news release.

Police said the trooper initiated a traffic stop and the driver pulled over.
The driver was identified as 33-year-old Inga Foksha of New York, New York.
Foksha was arrested on charges of reckless driving, second-degree reckless endangerment, failure to maintain lane, following too closely, and operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance.
She was released after posting a $500 bond with a court date of Oct. 6.
