Family Counseling Business To Open In Stratford

Office space in Stratford has been leased for the business, realtors announced this week.

STRATFORD, CT — A family counseling business will open on Main Street in Stratford. Barbara L. Pearce, CEO and President of Pearce Real Estate, announced in a press release that 546 square feet of office space at 3095 Main Street in Stratford has been leased for the business. Eileen Russell of Pearce/George J. Smith in Milford represented both the landlord and the tenant in the transaction.

The leasee will operate a family counseling business there called Counseling for Hope and Healing, according to the press release. The leasor is 3095 Main Associates. The building is owner-occupied. (To sign up for Stratford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Russell was named Rookie of the Year and won the Retail Sale Deal of the Year Award. In 2014, she received the Retail Lease Deal of the Year Award from the Commercial Investment Division of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors. She has repeatedly been named a Pearce Pro for her outstanding performance and achievement. She specializes in leasing and selling retail, office, and light industrial space in the Fairfield and New Haven County commercial markets.

Prior to her career in commercial real estate, Russell, for more than 30 years, worked as an Information Technology professional in New York City and Fairfield County. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. and an MBA from the University of Connecticut/Stamford. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Milford Yacht Club and serves on their Race committee. She was on the committee for the Devon Rotary Coastal Classics House Tour which raised $10,000 for the Beth El Shelter, and volunteers at Milford Hospital and Columbus House. She has been an ardent supporter of the Pancreatic Action Network.
