The Stratford Library will offer a free homebuyer’s and seller’s seminar on Tuesday, January 13 starting at 6:30 pm. The program is free and open to the public.
“Winter 2015 Homebuyer’s & Seller’s Seminar” will provide attendees with a comprehensive review of essential resources and background about the entire process of buying or selling a home. Key topics include: how to choose a real estate agent, real estate agent obligations to a buyer/seller, an overview of financing sources including mortgage brokers and commercial banks, the pros and cons of buying distressed property and pricing tips and how to stage one’s home for prospective buyers.
Guest speakers for the seminar include Charles Masse of Norcom’s Mortgage Force, who will address the financing aspects of real estate purchase, senior banker Joe Paul and Attorney and former consumer protection official Ellis Ratner, both from Property World USA.
