Residents using refuse cans are advised that they must be the standard 32-gallon capacity container and that garbage contained in the larger 45-gallon capacity can WILL NOT be collected. Paint, oil or any other liquid should not be placed in refuse cans.

Plastic bags cannot be included in your recycling container. This includes the special recycling bags that are currently being sold. The bags get stuck in the sorting equipment at the recycling drop off center, causing the entire truck load to be rejected as contaminated. We have been advised by the recycling drop off center not to accept plastic bags of any type from now on.

Yard waste collection has resumed.

Grass, leaves and shrubbery clippings must be contained in brown yard waste bags or loosely in cans. Branches no larger than one inch in diameter and 4 feet in length will be collected if tied in bundles.
