“I am grateful for strong support from the CT State FOP,” said Dancho in response to the endorsement. “Being an advocate for law enforcement is necessary in Hartford, and I plan to work towards removing the barriers our police face when performing their duties.”
“Connecticut Law Enforcement has suffered the last year with the police accountability bill,” said Detective Sergeant John Krupinsky, President of the CT State FOP. This is in reference to the Police Accountability Bill (HB-6004) effective October 2020 that implemented new procedural measures on Connecticut Police Departments.

“We can no longer allow our representatives to vote for legislation that binds our police to unnecessary mandates, reducing the effectiveness of their presence,” Dancho added. “Instead, I look forward to advocating for more police training in high-stress situations if elected.”
Laura Dancho has served as a Stratford Town Councilwoman for the past five years, openly backing Stratford's Police Engagement Program, Police Activities League (PAL), and Stratford’s School Resource Officers.
