New Bike Lanes, Signage Implemented In Stratford: What To Know
Officials have put together a guide to help residents with what all the symbols and lines mean as part of the Complete Streets project.
STRATFORD, CT — The new bike lanes and additional symbols and signage along Main Street from Stratford Avenue to Barnum Avenue have been implemented during Phase 1 of Complete Streets, according to Mayor Laura Hoydick.
The Mayor’s Office has put together a guide to help residents understand the road signs and symbols along the street.
“With your help we can keep Main Street safe for everyone traveling on it!” Hoydick wrote in a post on Facebook.

Hoydick said the project is fully funded by Connecticut DOT through Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
