New Pizza 'Saloon' Opens In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — A new saloon that specializes in "meticulously crafted pizzas" recently opened on Main Street in Stratford.

Runway 180 Saloon, at 7365 Main St. in Stratford's Oronoque Shopping Plaza, was welcomed to the town last week by Mayor Laura Hoydick and officials, according to a post on Hoydick's Facebook page.

Neapolitan-style specialty pizzas are not all that Runway 180 serves, as it also lets patrons create their own pizzas from an extensive list of toppings.

"They also have delicious stone-baked sandwiches, sports and live entertainment, and a full bar featuring craft beers," Hoydick wrote. The spot also has multiple pool tables.

Runway 180 Saloon is open seven days a week, with happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Click here for more information.
