STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Bob Atwood Maloney, 74, was a gentle and peaceful man.

He was the son of the late Harold and Ella Maloney. He leaves behind his daughter, Trina Maloney, his granddaughter Arianna Woodward, sister Linda Maloney and brother Gary Maloney.

Bob performed as the lead singer with his band THE ATWOOD EXPRESS for the Stratford Fireworks, Stratford Day and many other events.

Bob's band played across Connecticut in Charitable events such as, Swim Across The Sound at St. Vincent's for cancer victims, and Bob Hope's Cystic Fibrosis Event at Mohegan Sun. Sadly his Parkinsons Disease slowly took away his angelic ability to sing with his band. He was well known in and around Stratford.

He will be remembered by many for the bands he has played with throughout most of his life.

We know that all who had the chance to know him will say he was a nice guy. We will miss you Bob.
