Obituary: Charlotte F. Lindberg, 88, of Stratford

Charlotte, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, worked in the manufacturing division at Warnaco for many years.

STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Charlotte F. Lindberg, age 88 of Stratford, the beloved widow of William E. Lindberg, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 in the Connecticut Hospice, Branford.

Born on November 16, 1932 in Uxbridge, MA to the late Ernest and Rose (Novak) Rosiak, she has been a long time Stratford resident.

She was retired from Warnaco where she worked in the manufacturing division.

Survivors include her devoted children, Wayne Lindberg of Stratford, David Lindberg and his wife Jana of Kentucky, Joseph Lindberg of Stratford, and Michael Lindberg of Ansonia, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a brother Frank Rosiak of Milford, sisters, Florence Rickter of Newton and Lottie Meril of Florida, a brother-in-law, John Lindberg of Stratford, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Charlotte was pre-deceased by her son, William Jr, grandson, Joseph and brother, Ernest Rosiak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 12:30 pm in St James Church, 2610 Main Street Stratford. Inurnment will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery Stratford.

Everyone in attendance must follow the COVID 19 guidelines and wear a mask and practice social distancing. The Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
