Obituary: Christal Mazzarese, 66, of Stratford
Christal, a loving and devoted wife and friend to many, was a dedicated employee for the Kennedy Center as a bus driver for many years.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Christal Mazzarese, age 66, of Stratford entered into rest on May 26, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was born a feisty Aquarius on January 31, 1956 in Colorado.
Christal was preceded by her father, Edward.
Christal worked for the Kennedy Center as a bus driver and received an award for 30 years of service.
She loved and lived for anything purple as well as Tweety Bird and sparkly flashy jewelry. She was always searching for the next great shiny ring or necklace, but the jewelry never compared to her own sparkle.
Christal was survived by her husband Francis of 48 years.
As well as her mother, Ramona in Colorado, her brother, Doug, of Arizona, her sister-in-law, Barbara, her children; Franny, Dawn and her husband Willard, Heather and her husband, Fred; as well has her pride and joy her grandchildren, Elizabeth and her wife, Sara, Edward, James, Willard, Alicia, Fred and one great grandson, Jovani.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pistey Funeral Home, Stratford, 2155 Main Street. A prayer service will be held at 12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The American Heart Association (Heart.org).
