Obituary: Dorothy G. Leong, 85, Of Stratford
Dorothy was known as a hard worker with a big, loving and giving heart. She owned and operated Rust N Dust real estate for many years.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home): Dorothy G. Leong of Stratford, CT age 85 and widow of Harry Leong, passed away on November 3, 2021 peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital.
She was at the hospital fighting her illness since September 23rd.
Dorothy was born on March 25, 1936 to Norman and Beulah Singleton in Bridgeport, CT.
Dorothy worked at Woolworth's in Bridgeport, the phone company (SNET), and LPN at Bridgeport Hospital, an oral surgeon's assistant, started her own estate sale business Rust N Dust (35 years) and coordinated bus trips going to Foxwoods for 34 years.
Dorothy always had a big, loving, giving heart and always helped others when she could.
Dorothy is survived by her only devoted son, Troy Leong, and also some cousins.
Dorothy's father passed away in 1984 and her mother 1985.
There will be no wake.
Friends are invited a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 10, 2021at 11 am directly at Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Rd., Stratford.
