Obituary: Eugene R. Forte, 72, of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Eugene R. Forte, age 72, of Stratford, beloved husband of Donna Razowski Forte, passed away on October 30, 2021, in Griffin Hospital.

Eugene was born in Stamford on February 19, 1949, to the late Eugenio and Mary (Romaniello) Forte and had been a longtime area resident.

He was a graduate of Wright Technical High School in Stamford and attended the University of Bridgeport and was a self-employed photographer.

Eugene enjoyed teaching driver’s education, but he loved nothing more than being behind the lens of his camera to capture the beauty in life.

As Henry David Thoreau wrote: “It’s not what you look at that matters; it’s what you see.”

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 35 years, include his cherished daughter, Katharine Jane Forte of West Haven, brother, Joseph Forte of Stamford, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, November 8th, from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

Masks are required, as visitors walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.

Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment will be private.
