Obituary: Florence M Long, 86, of Stratford
Florence, always loving and devoted to her family, was a retired assembler for Bic Pen.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Florence M Long, age 86, of Stratford the beloved wife of Santna W. Long, sadly passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in North Kingstown, RI on May 6, 1935, to the late Edward M and Lucinda M (Coon) Moone, she has been a Stratford resident for the last 43 years.
Florence was a retired assembler for Bic Pen.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years and her devoted daughters, Vickie C. McGuire of North Kingstown, RI, Sandra L. Long and her partner Pamela Marquez of Fairfield, and Susan Kish and her husband Robert of Monroe, her cherished grandchildren, David Cutting, Matthew McGuire, Emily Kish, and Andrew Kish.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11 AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with the Rev. Meg Williams officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery Monroe.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 9-11AM. Everyone in attendance must follow the COVID 19 guidelines, wear a mask and practice social distancing.
