Jimmy, known for his loyalty, sense of humor, smile and love of family, was a dedicated employee of Capasso Enterprises.

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) James “Jimmy” Karpicky, 41, of Stratford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Born and raised in Milford, Jimmy was the son of Christine Brown and the late Frank Karpicky, Jr.
He graduated from Bunnell High School in Stratford and went on to become a carpenter by trade. Jimmy was employed by Capasso Enterprises, Inc, where he had been a foreman on many job sites throughout the state, winning many awards for his Masonry expertise.
But it was his children, Tye and Tianna, of Glastonbury, who he considered to be his greatest accomplishments in life.
In addition to his mother and children, Jimmy is survived by his brother, Frank David of Ansonia; step-father, Maurice Brown of Stratford; his former spouse, Heather Karpicky, who was his soulmate; step siblings, Lisa Holodnak, Stacy Brown and Jesse Brown; his aunt, cousins and a large extended family, including son, Cayden Karpicky.
He will be fondly and forever remembered as a “gentle giant” who had a genuine interest in others.
His quick and generous smile along with his sense of humor, even in adversity, shined through always. He never hesitated to help others and was always the first to be there and jump in.
When you were with Jimmy you felt like you were embraced by everything pure, beautiful and happy. He was loyal to the very core.
In lieu of flowers, Jimmy's family has requested that donations be made to Tye and Tiana's Education Fund.
