Obituary: John J. Moran, 69, of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) John J. Moran, age 69, of Stratford, passed away on October 26, 2021, at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford.

John was born in New York City on June 19, 1952, beloved son of the late John and Margaret (Farrell) Moran hand had been a lifelong area resident.

He was a graduate of Bunnell High School and was retired from Xerox.

Survivors include his devoted niece, Sarah McAloon and her husband Matthew, great-nieces, Madison Grace and Amelia Catherine, and good friend, his “Person” Donna Piskura.

In addition to his parents, John was pre-deceased by his brother, Stephen Moran, and sisters, Catherine Buturla, and Margaret Hughes.

John loved music, sports, and animals. His favorite pastime was going to the beach.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford.

Inurnment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
