Obituary: Lillian Veronika Skonieczny, 95, of Stratford
Lillian, always devoted to her family, was very active in the community. She volunteered many years at the Stonybrook School in Stratford.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Lillian Veronika Skonieczny age 95, passed away Sunday, November 7th. After a long illness.
She is predeceased by her husband Henry Skonieczny.
She was born in Nanticoke Pa. on February 21st, 1926. She was the daughter of Vincent Wojceichowski and Regina Sutrynowicz.
She had one older brother, Walter who was killed off of Okanawa, during World War II.
Lillian is survived by a daughter, Carol Davin of Monroe, three grandsons, Bruce Arthur Pincheon Jr. his wife Jessica, Daughters Neve and Aria, and son Daniel. Chris Davin, his wife Jessica, their daughters Lena, Aeris and Kyle Davin, his wife Ashley, and son Justin.
Lill was active in volunteering at Stonybrook school in Stratford during the 1970s.
She was also active in scouting and worked in the school lunchroom at Johnson House in the nineties.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, November 15th, from 9-10:00 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Masks are required.
Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
