Obituary: Lois J. Balga, 81, of Stratford
Lois was a retired office manager for Beckson Marine, volunteer at Our Lady of Grace Church and member of the Marian Guild.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Lois J. Balga, age 81, of Stratford, beloved wife of Theodore Balga, passed away on April 15, 2022, in her home.
Lois was born in Patton, Pennsylvania on September 3, 1941, to the late John and Louise (Miller) Rennie and had been a longtime area resident.
She was a retired office manager for Beckson Marine, and had volunteered at Our Lady of Grace Church, where she was also a member of the Marian Guild.
Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 59 years include her devoted sons, Thomas Balga and his wife Laura of North Haven, and Matthew Balga of Norwalk, 3 cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Brian, and MacKenzie, a brother, Joseph Rennie and his wife Ethel, sisters, Mary Lou Wilcoxson and Karen Phillips and her husband Keith and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lois was pre-deceased by her brother, Jack Rennie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on April 25th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford, Interment will be private.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
