Obituary: Maria 'Mary' Dickshinski, 90

Maria "Mary" Feola Dickshinski age 90, of Milford and formerly of Stratford, the beloved wife of the late Henry J. Dickshinski passed away peacefully on March 31, 2013 in her daughter’s residence with her loving family by her side.

Maria was born on Nov. 4, 1922 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marguerite DeCesare Feola. She was employed by SNET as a telephone operator for over 40 years and enjoyed reading, walking, spending time at the beach and time with her grandchildren and family.

Maria is survived by her daughter Carol M. Dion and Richard Rutkowski of Milford, three grandchildren Michele and husband Jeff Britell, Greg and wife Nikki Dion, Kristin and husband Josh Mohler, five great grandchildren, her sister Florence Rago and husband Anthony of Trumbull and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her cherished husband, Maria was also predeceased by two brothers Benjamin and Peter.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main St., Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Andrew Marus.

Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Trumbull. Friends may call on Saturday April 6, 2013 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home.
