Obituary: Martha Gallucci Tripodi, 60, Of Stratford
A passionate volunteer, Martha operated the video camera at Black Rock Church in Fairfield, filming the services every Sunday.

Martha Gallucci Tripodi, 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 at her home. Martha was born in Bridgeport on March 16, 1963, to Alfred and Holly Gallucci. She grew up in Fairfield and attended Roger Ludlowe High School and the University of Bridgeport. She resided in Fairfield, Milford and most recently Stratford, Connecticut.
She spent much of her career in massage therapy and was the first medical massage therapist licensed in the state of Connecticut. She also worked for several years as a school bus driver for the Westport school system, much to the delight of the lucky children on her route.

A passionate volunteer, Martha operated the video camera at Black Rock Church in Fairfield, filming the services every Sunday. Known for her great warmth and sense of humor, she had the special ability to connect with people in a deep and meaningful way. An avid decorator and gardener, Martha could turn any house into a home, filled with flowers, candles and love. Never far from her were her Chiweenie Paco or her dachshunds Greta and Vienna.
Martha is survived by her beloved son Matthew Tripodi; her life partner Doug Loucas; her mother Holly Gallucci; sisters Cara Gallucci, Madeline Monde and Adrianne Gallucci; her nephew Will Monde and niece Nicole Monde; cousins Laurie DeCredico and Danny Cenatempo; as well as her many dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Alfred Gallucci. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.

Friends may greet her family on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Tpke., Fairfield, CT 06825.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha’s name may be made to Black Rock Church or to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
