STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Michael John Bernardo III, also known as Mikie, age 35, of Stratford, CT entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Michael was born in Bridgeport, to his beloved parents Michael and Christine Bernardo, Jr.
Remembered always for his love of God, family and sports. He enjoyed his youth playing baseball and football.
He was known for his beautiful smile, and infectious laugh.
He is survived by his loving parents, Christine Saavedra and Michael J Bernardo, Jr. and wife Brenda; beloved sisters, Paris and Sophia Bernardo; cherished nieces Briana, Everley and Autumn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Florencio and Evelyn Saavedra; paternal grandparents, Michael and Rita Bernardo; and cousin and true friend, Kenny Saavedra Jr.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Michael's life on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 6 pm at Kingdom Life Christian Church Cathedral, 1455 Naugatuck Ave., Milford.
Floral deliveries will be accepted at the church Wednesday.
