Obituary: Nicholas R. Jenci, 71, of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Nicholas R. Jenci, age 71, of Stratford passed away on March 24 at the VA Hospital Hospice in West Haven, CT.

Nick was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Michael and Anna Sincak Jenci.

Graduate of Bunnell High School he also earned an A.S. in Business from Housatonic Community College and attended the University of New Haven working towards a degree in Chemistry.

He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the U.S. Navy and was a life member of VFW Post #9460.

He had two sons Gregg Jenci and Nicholas G. Jenci. Gregg has two children, Sophia Jenci and Gregg Jenci. Survivors include two sisters, Agnes Jankura of Trumbull, Lillian Jenci of Stratford, three brothers, Frank and his wife Carol of Stratford, Thomas and his wife Joanne of Florida and Michael and his wife Rosalie of California.

Also many loving nieces and nephews.

Nick was predeceased by his sister, Rose Maxwell and her husband Carl Maxwell.

Thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the VA Hospital Hospice for their Medical Nursing care and in home nursing care from Masonicare.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
